School Day
The length of our school week meets the Department for Education's (DfE) minimum expectation of at least 32.5 hours. In addition to this, students are encouraged to participate in our after school enrichment activities that can be viewed on our Enrichment website page.
In order to access the rich and broad curriculum that we offer, students should maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. This will make a significant contribution to their personal development and to securing excellent academic achievement. The timings of our day are as follows:

Access to the site
We would ask parents/carers to support us in ensuring our students are safe by not entering the site in cars in order to drop off their child at the start of the day, or when collecting their child at the end of the day. Parents/carers who drop off and collect students who need extra support with mobility may still enter the site and a car park pass will be issued on request. Please contact the Visitors’ Receptionist about this.
In association with this, may we remind you that the school day starts at 8.25am. After this time, access points will be secured until the end of the day. Entry throughout the day will only be via the Castle Way entrance.
