School Closure: Home Learning Support
Regrettably, the College is currently closed. However, we are keen to ensure that we provide home learning for students in Years 7-10, Year 12 and our future Sixth Form students.
Please find below details of the Home Learning arrangements :
Years 10 and 12: Learning will have a focus on activities that consolidate or extend prior learning, rather than introducing new learning and will include assessment activities. These activities will be uploaded onto SMHW, following a student’s normal timetabled lessons.
Year 11 Foundation Learning Pack: Student should continue to access this study pack has been devised to support those students who will be making the transition from GCSE's to A Levels in September. A further pack will be provided from Monday 1 June.
Year 12 Future Destinations Pack: This contains weekly activities for students to complete to support their planning for their next steps. At the start of each week the activities will be set on Show My Homework and all resources will be stored and saved in the student’s “interactions” in Unifrog ready for our return.

The Home Learning Guidelines also provide details of how you can contact relevant services in the College during the period of closure and these email addresses will be routinely monitored. We ask that you do not send emails directly to members of staff. This is because we will not be able to guarantee that they will be able to reply. By using a central email addresses, we will be able have a more rapid and reliable response to any requests for support.
