Student Council (DEMOS)

We have an elected student council Demos (Pronounced ‘Deemoss’) which means democracy. Student reps meet once a term to talk about school improvement matters.   All dates and minutes of the meetings are published on the Demos notice board in the Student Services area.

Students, through this gateway, are given a voice.
Some students also attend the Kettering Federation of Schools (KFED) meetings to discuss local and national issues that affect young people.  Other students are serving as councillors for the Kettering Youth Council and meet with other young people across the county.

Students can raise items for the agenda for our termly meetings through their year representative and also through the specific E mail address of . This E mail address is available to all students to raise any concerns or issues they would like addressing.
We have secured the School Council Silver Award.
